Museums: Cartoon and Comic Art Exhibits

Cartoons and comic books may have entertained us as kids, but their illustrations are an art form in-and-of themselves. From the animation of Walt Disney to the graphic depictions of Jack Kirby, these visual creations have withstood the test of time and have finally been recognized as artistic achievements in their own right. A handful of museums now cater exclusively to the cartoon and comic arts, while mainstream museums have likewise embraced the format with exhibits that highlight their importance.
